The CNN anchor said something along the lines of "breaking news" & "this is big". I thought: "this has prob something to do with Mueller", & it did. Former Trump adviser Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to a felony. The NYTimes has the documents describing the charges:
"Michael Flynn Pleads Guilty to Lying to the F.B.I."
"WASHINGTON — President Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn, pleaded guilty on Friday to lying to the F.B.I. about conversations with the Russian ambassador last December during the presidential transition.""The charges were the latest indication that Mr. Flynn was cooperating with the investigation by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III. A plea agreement suggests that Mr. Flynn provided information to prosecutors, which may help advance the inquiry."
So why is Flynn cooperating all of a sudden? Could be as simple as the news last week that Trump didn't want to pay Flynn's legal bills:
"Trump won't pay for Mike Flynn's legal bills: Official"
"President Trump will not be paying for former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn's legal bills, a White House ethics official confirmed to CBS News."
Thus, with no money, Flynn had no option but to cooperate with Mueller. Which begs the question: when the money runs out or other Trump loyalists are under too much pressure; who else will flip?
All of this is very interesting. However, the methodical & slow #TrumpRussia investigation appears to be in its early stages. In the meantime, let's remember Trump & the GOP are about to pass massive tax cuts to the rich.
Speaking of Trump's tax plan; last night Colbert said that billions of dollars "will trickle down", not to us (the working & middle-class), but "to the rich when they throw their money in the air and dance underneath it in joy":

And then Colbert pretended to dance. And I laughed. But then I thought the dancing looked too real. Maybe that's because despite being despised by the right, Colbert is one of those millionaires who'll nevertheless benefit from Trump's tax plan.
