Former "Apprentice" contestant Omarosa fired from the Trump admin. (you read that right)

I remember many years ago (a decade ago perhaps?), in the years before Netflix & modern-era MSNBC, I used to watch "the apprentice". Back when Omarosa was a contestant (yeah, I admit I once watched the show: just the first season though).
For some reason I was attracted to Omarosa despite the fact she played a villain. I mention she "played" a villain because I'm sure by now everyone knows all "reality-TV" is scripted.

Regardless, I also remember (despite being aware editing makes some people look bad on TV), thinking that based on how he treated Omarosa, Trump was probably a racist. & being a "Mexican" (as Trump likes to call Latinos like myself regardless of where we were born), I gotta say my instincts were right. But as far as the dynamics on the "apprentice", it may not have been racism as much as the fact that all the actors (including Trump) seemingly hated Omarosa.
Given all that, I was surprised when Omarosa became a member of the Trump administration. "She's such an opportunist" I thought. But then I quickly forgot about it. Just another weird personnel decision from the clownish former-reality-TV-host-turned-president Trump that I had no use in storing in my brain.

But today, I had no choice but to remember Omarosa (& all the drama that follows her). Apparently she was fired from the Trump administration by general Kelly. With many reports in the press claiming she was "physically dragged and escorted off the campus":

"Omarosa Manigault Newman - a fiery former star of Mr Trump's TV programme, The Apprentice - reportedly tripped an alarm on Wednesday.

The Secret Service said it did not help in "the escort off of the complex", but did deactivate her key pass.

Ms Manigault Newman was one of President Trump's few high-profile African-American supporters.

The White House's official statement on Wednesday said she was leaving to "pursue other opportunities".

But an unnamed White House official told the Wall Street Journal that the aide had to be "physically dragged and escorted off the campus" after she was fired by chief of staff John Kelly."

Omarosa is also hinting at racism inside the Trump white house which would surprise no-one. But then again, she might just be trying to sell books (although what if it is true?):
'Ms Manigault Newman also rejected suggestions that her role in the Office of Public Liaison was vague and ill-defined.
She said she will have "quite a story to tell".
"I've seen things that made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people," she said.
She added: "It's a profound story I know the world will want to hear." '
