Arizona Cardinals & the NFL regular season's week 15

Cardinals lost 20-15 to the Redskins. & although final score looks like it was a close game, Cards didn't score a single touchdown. Thus they're eliminated from the playoffs. Cardinals are now 6-8, same as Redskins btw who are also eliminated:

"What points the Cardinals did score Sunday belonged to Phil Dawson. He kicked five field goals in the 20-15 defeat to the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field.

The loss officially eliminated the Cardinals (6-8) from playoff contention."

Also in the NFC west; surprisingly, the Rams destroyed the ailing Seahawks 42 to 07. Rams are now 10-4 vs Seahawks 8-6.

After the game, & despite the highly-critical article above, concerning the playoffs, the Seahawks are "still alive". As far as the Rams, they're now the number 3 seed in the NFC. 

The number 5 seed in the NFC, Panthers (10-4) beat the (now eliminated) Packers (7-7) in a close game, 31-24:

In the AFC, the (now) number 1 seed Patriots defeated the (now) number 2 seed Steelers in a close entertaining game 27-24, both teams are now 11-3:

Week 15 ended with the Monday Night Football game between the (eliminated from playoffs) Buccaneers & the Falcons:

Despite the Buccaneers trying to play spoilers, the (9-5) Falcons won 24-21 in another close non-boring game, after which the number six seed Falcons improved their playoff standing.
