Arizona Cardinals & the NFL regular season's week 10

Week 10 started with the Cardinals losing (16-22) to the (6-3) Seahawks during "Thursday Night Football". Thus Arizona's record is now 4-5.
Although Seattle won, it proved to be so costly of a game that it brought back arguments in the press against playing football during thursday night:

"'Thursday night football should be illegal’: Was Seahawks-Cardinals the tipping point?"
"On Thursday night against the Cardinals, Sherman ruptured his Achilles’ tendon. A player who hasn’t missed a game since joining the league in 2011 won’t return until 2018.
Sherman wasn’t alone. Seattle left tackle Duane Brown sprained his ankle. Safety Kam Chancellor suffered a stinger. Defensive tackle Jarran Reed left the game in the first half with a hamstring injury. Linebacker Michael Wilhoite suffered a calf injury. Defensive linemen Sheldon Richardson and Frank Clark ran into each other in the fourth quarter, both leaving the game. Running back C.J. Prosise, who had missed most of the previous five games with a right high-ankle sprain, hurt his other ankle."

In addition, there's controversy about Russell Wilson & the NFL's concussion protocol:

"Source: Seahawks violated concussion protocol by allowing Russell Wilson to re-enter game"

"The Seattle Seahawks violated the NFL's concussion protocol Thursday night when they allowed Russell Wilson to re-enter their game against the Arizona Cardinals without going to the locker room and being cleared by a team doctor and an independent physician, a source close to the situation told ESPN."

Also important for the NFC west (after defeating the Giants last week), the L.A. Rams were victorious once again. This time by decisively beating the Texans (33-7).
Rams are "just two victories away" from breaking a streak of 13 consecutive non-winning seasons:

"Woods caught a 94-yard TD pass to break it open before Sammy Watkins and Woods made TD catches 19 seconds apart late in the third quarter. Woods finished with eight catches for 171 yards, including a 12-yard TD that essentially sealed it.
The Rams’ 4-12 homecoming season tested the interest of LA fans who had been hurt by this franchise before, but coach Sean McVay’s Rams are definitely worth watching. A franchise with 13 consecutive non-winning seasons is just two victories away from breaking that streak."

Meanwhile, the (1-9) 49ers finally won a game after defeating the "hapless" (1-8) Giants 21-31:

"Giants' defense a no-show again in loss to previously winless 49ers"

The 49ers' win means the Cardinals were the only team to lose in the NFC west during week 10.

A somewhat boring Panthers vs Dolphins "Monday Night Football" game ended week 10. Carolina Panthers dominated the (4-5) Miami Dolphins & are now 7-3 before their bye week.
Final score: 21-45.
