Secretary of State Tillerson referred to Trump as a "moron"

Fittingly, a day after Trump was televised tossing rolls of paper towels at people in Puerto Rico:

, there's news reports of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson referring to the Donald as "a moron" (in late July). & today, there was a televised statement by Tillerson where he didn't actually deny it:

"When asked whether he called the president a moron, however, Tillerson said, "I'm just not going to deal with petty stuff like that."'

Was that a yes?

By having Trump as president, those are the types of news we're dealing with. Whether or not the President's own Secretary of State called him a "moron".

The initial report was published by NBC news:

"Tillerson’s Fury at Trump Required an Intervention From Pence"

"WASHINGTON — Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was on the verge of resigning this past summer amid mounting policy disputes and clashes with the White House, according to senior administration officials who were aware of the situation at the time.
The tensions came to a head around the time President Donald Trump delivered a politicized speech in late July to the Boy Scouts of America, an organization Tillerson once led, the officials said.
Just days earlier, Tillerson had openly disparaged the president, referring to him as a “moron,” after a July 20 meeting at the Pentagon with members of Trump’s national security team and Cabinet officials, according to three officials familiar with the incident."
The bad blood between Trump & Tillerson seems credible to me. Since as recently as a few days ago, Trump was undermining Tillerson using the very public platform of Twitter:

Nevertheless, Trump is unlikely to fire Tillerson this year. Mainly, because (according to the report) Generals Kelly and Mattis are Tillerson allies, & they want "stability" (whatever that means in reference to the chaos going on with Trump's cabinet & staff).
