Arizona Cardinals & the NFL regular season's week 7

Week 7 started with the Raiders defeating the Chiefs in a close game (30-31) during "Thursday Night Football".

Still though, Raiders are tied for last place in the AFC West & "face tough road to reach playoffs":

"Now, at 3-4, the Raiders have a reasonable chance to return to the postseason — but they must quickly right their unsteady ship, and the upcoming schedule does them no favors.
In its final nine games, Oakland will make three visits to the Eastern time zone and two to the Central time zone. The Raiders do not play at the Coliseum again until Nov. 26.

Between now and then, they will play at Buffalo, spend a week practicing in Sarasota, Fla., play in Miami, enjoy their bye week and then head to Mexico City on Nov. 19 — to face Tom Brady and the reigning Super Bowl-champion New England Patriots."

Week 7 ended with the dominant (6-1) Eagles (best record in the NFL) beating the Redskins 24 to 34 during "Monday Night Football".

But week 7 was the weekend of shutouts. With
the Jaguars defeating the Colts 00 to 27:

& the (3-4) Chargers (of all teams) defeating the (3-3) Broncos 00 to 21: "LA Chargers deal Denver Broncos first shutout in 25 years":

But of course, the worst shutout from week 7 was the Rams beating the Cardinals 00 to 33. Worst of all, Palmer was injured in the second quarter, & now "Palmer's timeline for return up in the air":

& as I mentioned in my blog post last week, rival teams were bound to adjust to Peterson's presence.
He only had 11 rushing yards.

The question now becomes: will Arians adjust his game plan to counterattack rival teams' expectations from Peterson?  Because with Palmer injured "Cardinals will need more from Peterson":

"LONDON (AP) Adrian Peterson’s second game  in Britain was remarkably similar to his first – and the Arizona Cardinals are soon going to need much more from him on a consistent basis.

Peterson rushed for 21 yards on 11 carries in the Cardinals’ 33-0 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, three weeks and one trade after he made a forgettable appearance for the New Orleans Saints."
